A specialy developed project for Ro Plastic-Masters exhibition, curated by Rossana Orlandi. The project discusses the pollution of the oceans through an object with a strong simbolic meaning - a clock. The iconic object, which represents the past and decisions that lead to polutions we are facing today, is made out of simple construction, upholstered in a fabric, made out of recycled plastics, that is embroided with yarns with rich and illustrative patteren, made out of iconic images of underwater life, by marine biologist and artist Ernest Haeckel. Both the fabric itself and embroidery threads used in the project, are made out of recycled plastic waste. The textile is made out of New life yarns, an ambitious project by Sinterama, using and recycling post-consumption plastic bottles collected in northern Italy. The sewing thread Mara r pet, produced by GUtermann, is made out of 100 % recycled polyester materials. Embroidery of the patteten was technicaly developed and embroided by ErcigojArt.The project is concentrating on using materials from recycled plastic in a new and unexpexted way, as we believe that we also need to change and broaden the aesthetics of objects, made out of recycled plastic in order to offer the new poetics, feelings and exciting emotions.

Ro Plastic-Master’s Pieces, curated by Rossana Orlandi, is an exhibition of 29 one-of-a-kind pieces in recycled plastic made by world-renowned artists, designers and architects. Exhibition design: Studio Vudafieri • Saverino Partners. From April 6th-14th, the exhibition will be open to the public at the Railway Pavilion of the Museo Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci in Milan.

The word strings evokes a vision of lightness in our minds. Be it the strings of a musical instrument or textile strings of everyday use. An elegant paradox emerges when strings are made of the hard steel and defined into cabinets and credenzas . Designer NikaZupanc magically achieves lightness and transparency in the Strings collection for Scarlet Splendour, taking “strings” of metal and transforming them into path breaking furniture. There is an influence of waves in this collection as well, inspired by the sounds of the sea and the forms that waves take, in the sofas and tables

Freedom once again: to create, arrange, invite, change your mind and reorganise. Clip set is inspired by timeless paper clips that can be used over and over again. A collection of free-sanding upholstered seating with the same theme in common but differing
in size and extremely versatile: the pouf, for example, can be turned into a coffee table. But these very lively elements can suggest lots of other transformations as well. The metal coffee tables that complement the range offer a functional and eye- catching contrast.

Dalmatia, collection of outdoor furniture

Summers by the Adriatic Sea, the whiteness of the stones on the beach, or the dark purple of the wood from pine trees , this is what inspired the sinuous and delicate lines of the Dalmatia collection. A collection consists of 9 objects, ranging from dinning chairs, dinning tables to sofas and arm chairs and coffee tables. A perfect balance between innovation, technology and design in an outdoor aluminium collection, which stands out thanks to the freshness of its lines, its comfort and its strength.
